What is Pix?
Pix is the instant payment system created by the Central Bank of Brazil (Banco Central do Brasil). Transfers settle in seconds, 24/7, and are free for individuals. Payments are sent to a Pix key (a CPF or CNPJ tax ID, phone number, email or random key) or by scanning a Pix QR code in any Brazilian banking app.
How to create a Pix QR code

- Enter the recipient name and city.
- Optionally, set a fixed amount, a reference ID and a description.
- Download the QR code as a PNG or copy the Pix copy-and-paste code.

Static Pix QR code
This tool creates a static Pix QR code, the same kind banks offer for receiving payments. It follows the BR Code (EMV) standard, can be used many times, never expires and works with any Brazilian banking app. With a fixed amount, the payer only confirms; without one, they type how much to pay. Amounts are always in Brazilian reais (BRL).

Is it safe to generate a Pix QR code here?
Yes. The QR code is generated in your browser and no data is sent or stored. The money goes straight to the account linked to the Pix key you entered, with no middleman.
Does a Pix QR code expire?
No. The generated QR code is static: it can be used as many times as you like and does not expire as long as the Pix key remains registered.
Can I create a Pix QR code with a fixed amount?
Yes. Fill in the Amount field and the payer only needs to confirm. Leave it blank to let them type the amount in their banking app. Amounts are always in Brazilian reais (BRL).
What is Pix copy and paste (Pix copia e cola)?
It is the same content as the QR code in text form. The payer pastes the code into the Pix area of their banking app to pay, which is useful when scanning is not possible.
Why is the name shown without accents?
The Pix standard (BR Code) only accepts unaccented characters and limits the name to 25 characters and the city to 15. The adjustment is made automatically.
